Volunteering

Join us on the farm and help grow something beautiful

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at Hydons Flower Farm is a wonderful way to spend time outdoors, learn new skills, and be part of a friendly community. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, there's always something meaningful to do on the farm.

Our volunteers are the backbone of what we do. From planting and weeding to harvesting and arranging, every pair of hands makes a real difference — both to the flowers we grow and to the people we support through the Green Hub Project.

No experience needed. Just bring yourself, wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy, and we'll provide the rest.

How You Can Help

There are lots of ways to get involved, depending on your interests and availability

General Farm Help

Planting, weeding, watering, and general maintenance of the flower beds. A great way to spend a morning outdoors and learn about seasonal growing.

Harvest & Arranging

Help us pick and prepare flowers for our buckets, subscriptions, and events. Perfect if you have an eye for colour and enjoy creative work.

Event Support

Assist on Pick Your Own days and other farm events. Welcoming visitors, serving refreshments, and helping the day run smoothly.

Charity Workshop Support

Help facilitate workshops alongside our charity partners including the Green Hub Project, Prime Time, Surrey Choices, and Surrey Garden Trust. A rewarding role for those who enjoy working with people in an outdoor setting.
